Don’t Go To Church…Be The Church!

The V is a community of Christian believers. We believe church is more than a building, it’s a community. Worship is more than music, it’s a way of life. Service is not a gathering of people, it’s people helping others. Are you tired of church as usual? We are! We are a group of believers whose mission in life is to 1) Love the Lord, our God, with all our heart, mind, and strength, 2) Love our neighbors as ourselves, and 3) Go into all the world and make disciples. We seek to truly know Christ through His Word, worship, prayer, and meditation, desiring to be like Him in all ways. We desire to show the world who Christ is. We strive for unity within the entire body of Christ. Members of other churches and denominations are always welcome in our gatherings. We want to be known for our likeness to Christ, not for our programs, plans, or size. We have seen too many others abandon the Church because of politics and legalism and wish to help them reconnect with a group of believers. If you’re tired of just attending religious meetings, we hope you will join us for one of our gatherings.

Just one visit to ‘The V’ and you will see that we are not your typical ‘church’. Every Saturday evening, we begin our time together with a meal. Then we continue our meeting with participatory worship and a time of ministry and sharing in the Word. Every meeting is different. We try to wait on the Lord and follow the leadership of the Spirit in each gathering. Please come and join us, as we worship together our Lord Jesus.
